Alo is an Obolo (a Nigerian indigenous language) word for pearl. This music was inspired by my precious daughter, Amy, whose middle name is Alo.

This piece was inspired by the concept of Rasa (Sanskrit for essence, taste, or flavour). It relates to the essential elements of emotions (within the body and mind), aesthetics, perfection, and beauty that can only be suggested, not described.
Rasa represents the essence of human experience and the energy of human emotion.
